HOW WE WORK

The Live Project is a real-life, real-time architectural design project which involves meaningful collaboration between students, academics and a community outside of the academy in the production of an artefact for the community, that enables student learning.

The ‘school-based practice’ Project Office acts as a bridging entity, prototyping a mechanism for facilitating Live Projects, one which intersects architects/lecturers, students/agents and clients/public.

Project Office is indispensable as a means of enabling and enriching the architecture Live Project programme and student

experience.

TEN EXPRESSIONS OF AGENCY

Project Office's 10 Expressions of Agency demonstrate its ethical principles and how to occupy a space concurrently within the academic institution and architectural practice. Collectively they embrace a pedagogic principle whereby the student cohort is regarded as a 'force for good'.

1. To approach our work in an ethical and inclusive manner where all participants are equal learners
